Stuuu, the MKIII right the only diff between this and the MK II is a quartz button. Is it a quartz lock or a pitch reset button?

MkIII's have a pitch reset / quartz lock button (arn't they the same?!).

There is no lock notch on the zero of the pitch control.

They also have a redesigned on / off switch, it basically makes them harder to turn off by accidident.

    That's about it

A quartz lock just locks the pitch to 0.
A pitch reset allows you to lock the pitch, so you can move the controller to where you want. Then when you hit the button again the speed of the platter stays the same as before but as you've moved the controller you can then speed the pitch up another +16..etc

This is probably a load of bull but I was told by quite a reliable source.

    What do other people think?

4 decks (2 cheap ones DD tho)
    3 mixers
    1 md deck
    1 tape deck
    2 amps
    stupid ammounts of speakers
