    If you've got that sort of case\h you can buy a better equipment for a lot less.

    And you don't need a Mk5G.

    Loads of topics on that subject here, but it depends on your:

    1) cashflow,
    2) ability,
    3) needs...

    Secondhand Mk2s in a good state and a decent new mixer with 2/3 channels from Pioneer, Vestax PLUS a CD player and you're sorted if you're beginning.

    No I don't but I've spent a lot

    And got ripped off a bit.

    It seems you're checking the wrong places - mostly very expensive ones.

    Check the prices on ebay - they're a lot lower and just as reliable.
