Terabyte Records is back, and boy do we have a special start for 2015. With releases on such prominent labels within the scene such as Horizons Music and the mighty Metalheadz, we are overwhelmingly proud to welcome Data onto our artist roster. He certainly does not disappoint with this release; ‘Opiate’ is vintage Data – an eerie opening with a strong vocal to set the scene for the impending havoc. The bass penetrates your entire body, backed with an equally bone-shaking drum beat. This is one for fans of minimal and half-time - a genre that Terabyte are continually plowing into.

The flip is Mr Foul's "Hold On", and continues in a dark vein. Ominous FX and a dissonant pad from the off, and almost tribal in its sound, ghost snares and light breaks perfectly compliment the droning subs and almost fear-inducing background atmospheres.

All in all this is one of Terabyte's strongest releases to date – bringing in a household name in drum and bass music into their roster is not something that can be said of other labels in our weight category. 2015 will be our strongest year to date.

Supporters of Terabyte: Rockwell, Doc Scott, Survival, Amoss, Dabs, Philth, Mauoq, Memro, Rowpieces, Chris SU, Mob Tactics, DBR UK, Basher, Komatic, LoKo, Mindscape, Gremlinz, LSB, Pennygiles, Kolectiv, Stunna, Stanza, N3gus, Muffler, Danny Wheeler, Loz Contreras, Colossus, Onset, DJ Mag, Rood FM, Dusk FM and many more!
