As we have now been running DIRTY FREQ'S events for 8 years we wanted to start off by saying a big thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last 8 years. Be it through coming to our events as the ravers, DJ'ing or MC'ing, Designing all of our artwork and everything in between we are very grateful for everything that people do for us. So here's to another 8 years of wicked parties and fun times! Lets push this even further in 2015!!
To celebrate our 8th Birthday we are welcoming representatives from both the NEW & OLD era's pf Drum & Bass / Jungle. Representing the new is Nottingham's very own CHROMATIC who in the last couple of years have started to make their mark on the Drum & Bass scene with releases on DJ Hype's PLAYAZ and also Marky's INNERGROUND labels. Representing the old we have a Nottingham and Jungle scene legend in the form of XTC who has had releases on GREENSLEEVES RECORDS and JAHMAL RECORDS though his most recent output has come on LIQUID DROPS and ROGUE BEATS.
We also welcome a Sheffield duo who are starting to make a name for themselves in and around Sheffield as well as further afield. SHADOW B & MODULATE owners of the event VERSION are keen DJ's and producers with lots of new music in the pipeline which will no doubt help them progress within the scene. They also bring with them FRANZ VON from BAD MACHINE another group of Sheffield and Doncaster based artists making BIG moves in the scene.
As always expect to see the DIRTY FREQ'S residents rolling out on the ones & twos and blessing the Mic with some birthday beats and bars for those that know!
