"The Drop" Cytomic VST

Has anyone used this filterbank VST before?

i kinda like the look and sound of it

I tried the beta a few month ago. I wasn't as impressed as other people on gearslutz/kvr. The sound was great but I it wasn't much better then FilterFreak.

May be I should try it now after it has been released and has more modulation options.

People were jocking that thing pretty hard on some forums. It looks pretty sweet, might have to check it out. I think BSE was using it in a video I saw... Could be wrong though.

That's the one I saw! That was a cool video to watch for sure. What was that visual readout they were using on the laptop set off too the left of their rig? It's not a spectrum analyzer, but some other thing.

Anyone have luck using one for anything? Just looked like a bunch of colors flying by to me.... But I'm assuming the colors represent frequency ranges and the velocity of them.
