How does one do this phaser effect?

In this song, at 00:37 there's a part where they've chopped a small part of the main break, and added a phaser onto it.

There have been many times where I've either wanted to do a similar thing, or apply some sort of phasing to the break prior to the drop.


I was wondering if anybody knows how to do this?

I've of course had a go myself, but didn't get any good results.
I used Logics built in phaser plugin to try and achieve this, but I didn't get anything interesting. The phasing sounded weak, unlike that of the one in this song which is very intense.
I haven't found a way to increase the intensity here, or a way to make an upwards phase only without the downward portion.

Any idea's?
