I've always had appreciation for hip hop but its never something i've bothered to follow or learn about leaving me completely clueless with the genre.

I'm looking for some decent artists/tracks to have a listen through as I am after tunes to mix. Where are the best places to go about buying hip hop tunes as well?

Open to listening to all styles within the genre but only really looking for instrumental bits.

Thanks :)

Highly recommend the album "Street Bangerz Vol. 2" by Gramatik and "Deadringer" by RJD2

As for buying hip-hop, i dont really know. A lot producers just give their stuff out for free tbh, or they'll give you links for purchase
Hope this helps , i was pretty bored if you couldn't tell haha

Noize did some instrumental Hip-Hop mixes a while back. You might want to check them out.

Try these:

Then you need to look with hip hop producers ..

But if you're looking for only instrumental and not really hip hop you can try some Bonobo, Emancipator, Aether, Dirty Elegance etc..

Hermitude.

I suppose I would call this the most hip hoppy track off their album "Hyperparadise", which I really recommend. Quite electronic but also really good hip hop influences. Some would call it future beats or whatever but I don't know. They do a great live show too
