Using Traktor to make digital copies of vinyl

Would this be the best way to record vinyls to wav?

If so/not what would the best way to do it without having to buy anything lol??

And does anyone have any tips/advice on making the rip sound as good as possible?

Download Audacity. Its free, provides good MP3 encoder rips and easy to use. Just plug your mixer into your computer, use it as a preamp, make sure the levels are flat, and dont redline.

The condition of your styli and carts make a massive difference to the quality of the recording too. Make sure you record the vinyl rip with new styli.
