WORLD WAR 3 (VIP mix)

JoErOe: Id try scooping mids and seeing how that works. its a good track; tells a story to the listener. Real laid back smoking vibes, reminds me of DJ Hype's "Sharp Shooter".

Not my cuppa really, only thing I feel I can comment on is the snare, the noise and the drum samples sound really disjointed IMO.

thanks for honest feedback. i'm not sure whether the disjointed sound you're getting is actually just the style of this sort of D&B, or whether it's a specific thing i've done. can you elaborate please.

cheers for all feedback,

extended one on the upload now....

Well, the different snare samples don't gel together into a single sound, they're sound a lot like two samples playing at once.

Can be dealt with EQ'ing out the highs from the "live" sample and the lows from the noise, then - say - compressing and distorting them together. Might want to change their pitches slightly to see if that helps, too.
