Winter lights 140 mellow

So i was thinking of a 2014 edit as this was my last piece before my laptop died. What do you think

Not feeling those synth strings in the intro, after the drop everything fits a whole lot better together.

The melody is alright, but a bit repetitive and could definitely do with some filtering or whatever to create movement.

Kick is lost somewhere in the mix, snare is a little dull as well, might want to layer that up with a clap or something.

B-line is nice, but the tune could benefit from some more one shots and incidentals thrown in to help build the atmosphere a little.

The melody synth reminds me of something great, but can't tell what. Really loving the atmosphere. Usually i would complain that it needs more FX but in this case it fits quite well to the mellowness. Maybe the drums could flow a bit more, but in general lovely tune.

Oh, and regarding the intro. It's a bit boring, i like the strings but you could with some more elements there
