You'll only hear the differences relative to how well your ears are trained/experienced. If you haven't been producing long then the fact is you just wont, imo. I work with someone who been producing 9 years, been pro for 3, and the shit he hears in tracks that I don't is somewhat worrying!

Even so, if your ears aren't trained enough to hear the difference it's all fruitless. Statement to be taken with a pinch of salt tho
