Wellll, ive been experimenting with a lot of 3/4 20bpm stuff.

Got the pack and I'm gonna give it a go! I'm not too comfortable with working from only samples but it'll be fun to mess around at least.

I downloaded the sample pack for this competition. But, I dunno, there are some sounds there that sounds... just wrong, you know? The Atmos, the subs and two of the reeces sound ok, but the rest of the sounds seem just wrong. Is it just me?

In this case, wrong means "ugly". Far too loud, far too distorted, imo (the reeces).

question: If I use one of the samples as a vocoder modulation for a bass, does it still counts? The carrier would be a patch of mine.

Wouldn't that fall under resampling? Resampling is allowed.

No, only if you use the samples as carrier, as modulation source you can use whatever you want !
