Not strictly dnb but he makes some interesting comments on production. I like high contrasts in tracks

i'm not the biggest fan of compression and limiters to honest with you..........i do find them helpful tho for final processing........i master my track and then the very two last things i'll do is add mild compression to the whole thing and then limit (nothing over -3.0 att)........just remember : NEVER over compress!.unless your after that pumpy effect?!?!?!
