The Hydra presents Deviation 5th Birthday with Moodymann, Dam Funk, Hudson Mohawke, Kode 9, Benji B, Moxie / 13th October / TBA – London Location



One of London’s most forward thinking club nights celebrates five years of being just that with 'the Hydra' on Saturday 13th October when Deviation puts on a star-studded line-up, headlined by Detroit House icon Moodymann. From his sought-after releases on his Mahogani Music label to his outspoken interviews and DJ sets he’s a true maverick in his field and will be joined by Deviation favourite Dam-Funk, who performed at Deviation’s first birthday and will be bringing his live Funk exploits to the table. Making the birthday that bit more memorable will be Warp’s Hip-Hop wunderkind Hudson Mohwake. Hyperdub boss Kode 9 will be wishing Deviation many happy returns and of course the man who got the disco ball rolling five years ago Benji B will be taking you through the sounds that have made the night so crucial in London’s club scene since its inception.

We are very excited to announce that the venue we will be using for this Saturday's Deviation 5th Birthday event is ICan Studios in Hackney Wick.

It is a 10 minute walk from Hackney Wick station which is on the over ground line.

The nearest bus stop is Wansbeck Road – Routes 276 (from Stoke Newington) and 488 (From Clapton Pond)

There will be a cab service outside the venue at the end of the night.

A few things to remember ahead of Saturday:

We will be using the new RA Bar Code Tickets so you must bring a print out of your tickets and the card the ticket was bought with. No print out, no card, not entry.

The bar is CASH ONLY – there is a cash back facility at the cloak room but we advise bring enough cash for the night

There will be a fully staffed cloak room

There will be NO tickets available on the door – THIS EVENT IS ADVANCE TICKETS ONLY - Please do not turn up unless you have a ticket you will NOT get in.

Set times will be posted on the night but we have got a lot of talent to get through so we advise arriving early so you don’t miss any of it.
