Are the rules over there the same as here, where unless they physically slap the ticket on your car you dont get a ticket? Traffic wardens are the scum of the earth, fuck paying to put your car on a piece of concrete. If your car is blocking a hospital/ firehouse then fine, but otherwise they should expect to have their cameras smashed and notepads burnt. Never had a ticket in my life and never will. What would you be saying if he wasn't driving a Ferrari? Parking tickets should be the last thing on police's mind in New York

He was doing his job, and that useless prick who bought a ferrari with daddies money and has almost certainly never worked a day in his life drove over his foot to avoid getting a ticket which daddy would have paid and spanked him for.

Ive been told about police traffic enforcement officers and parking wardens giving both ambulances and fire trucks tickets, and they do have to pay as I happened to know both the drivers. Doing his job of serving the citizens of New York, by giving them a ticket for leaving their car in a hotel foyer for a few minutes too long? What does he expect people to do when they are dropping off their luggage and other stuff you do at hotels? Give anyone power and they abuse it for their own enjoyment

It's not his job to try stand in the way of a moving vehicle though, police officers just dont get paid enough for that. Now that guy in the ferrari is gonna get done for assulting a police officer, when in reality all he was doing was trying to drive away, that police officer put himself in front of that car, just to get an arrest.

Right for starters you cant just drive away from a cop when he's doing you for a 'violation' or 'citation' or whatever quaint term the americans use for parking tickets. It's not like a private company trying to clamp your car it's a real cop who, for better or for worse, deserves to be treated with respect. It would be rather strange if when faced with the police you could just walk off no strings attached. Don't get me wrong US cops have a massive attitude problem they act like roid heads and youtube is full of them over reacting but that doesn't mean you can just drive off if you're unhappy with a cops decision..

Anyway you annoyed me a bit by claiming to 'know' these ambulance drivers/firefighters' who've been ticketed and paid up. I realise it's a human impulse to lie like that but as someone who knows how parking tickets work I can assure you the emergency services do not get issued with tickets and if they did they would be cancelled. What sort of a country do you think we live in?

A country where if you're not wised up, you will basically be taxed to live. To be honest I dunno why I kept on, I dont pay them so I'm not fussed

I actually saw an ambulance drive receive a ticket outside the local co op the other day. She was in her car and had her uniform an she looked fucking pissed off about it.
