xone 62 question

ive had one for a few weeks now.
bought second hand, VERY good condition...

just wondering, when a track is playing and i press the filter on button you can here the track get quieter slightly..

its only a slight change in sound, but once you have noticed it, its hard not to..

is this normal ?

i cant remember my xone 32 doing it?!

It defaults to low pass when you turn it on so could be that I normally have it on high pass if I leave the filters on having a mix make sure resonance is down though .

Nah they do actually do this regardless of where the filter knob is set. Its fucking gay!!! Pissed me off massively cos when doing 3/4 decks you cant realistically use filters on all of them so you have to compensate with the gain, can get real messy if you forget to turn one up/down. I dont use the filters anymore for 4 deck stuff.
