because they all have a gravitational pull? I dunno Im no scientist. You can go live on the moon if you want but food and energy would become an issue incredibly quickly. Oh and oxygen

i think its important to remember that whatever we as humans do to this planet, however bad we pollute it, and tunnel through it, and bomb it, and whatever really, its nothing compared to the cataclysm the planet regularly goes through. every... i dont know couple of thousand, or is it it million(s?) years or so, a big fuck off comet hits the planet, probably causing a reversal in the poles, what probably melt on the way to the other side, unfathomable earthshakes and volcano eruptions, tidal waves bigger than canada, and nuclear winter for another million years, effectively wiping out all trace of our stupid human race and anything thats to do with it on this planet. so, if anyone finds it very important that this particular incarnation of the great magnet should live on, you should probably looking into terraforming and relocating to other planets or at least space stations. dont know if they still have those but i saw footage from inside mir and that didnt look like it was fantastically cozy, looked like an old russian submarine
