M-Audio Studiophile AV 40 for Studio Monitors

I'm sick of headphones and I'm planning to purchase some studio monitors for myself.
I'm looking at the M-Audio Studiophile AV 40's, their reviews are kind of great and they are not expensive.
My question though is that are they good monitors for d&b production? My room is about 6x3 meters wide and approx 2.5m high.
