    this camo & crooked bassline

How does one make this type of bassline around 1:29?

I've tried but failed miserably. I just want to know how they did it.

If I had to guess...sounds like a pitched down square waveform with a very short attack, release and decay for that stacatto vibe. Probably split into bands with the higher end receiving a like phaser for movement.

    Just a guess.

That sounds pretty close, shorten the decay a bit, add a little distortion then compression and you got it

I had a seperate sub, quite full two triangles 0 + 1 octave lowpassed.
The stabby part was in Albino, basically a 1/8 triplet sawtooth lfo on the filter. A sine and the analogue square wave + 1 octave with the sub osc turned right up. Both routed to both filters so I can use Albinos routing to add a little reverb and chorus to the highs. Also some of Albinos saturation which fills out the sound and adds harmonics.
After the synth a little tape saturation and maximiser.

I tried to make some screen grabs but I keep getting an error message when I upload them, sorry.

Interesting approach subprime...I'm going to have to fire up Albino this evening. +1 all day.
