xone 62 noob question

hi guys! havent been on here for a week or so, got a new set up so been busy mixing hope everyones good!

question for you lot...

how do i wire up krk's to a xone 62 ? ive got some krk 3-10 monitors coming tomorow and ive bought two xlr to xlr cables aswell... will they just plug straight into the speakers and work ok ? or do i need more?

and also, i dont know if its just me being stupid.. but can you use the filters when the cross fader is off ? ive only been using it a day and it seems to me you can only use the filters if a channel is applied to either side of the cross fader!

is that right ? or am i bein dumb..

In answer to your question; if the monitors have like a power cable coming from them in addition to the XLR's you're good to go. If not you're gonna need a amp. But I think I saw one sat underneath your super custom homemade Dj desk thing so you're probably all good to go, buster.

If the Xone 62 has 2 xlr outputs on the back... your are all good to go. If i remember correctly those KRK are powered right?? so... you will just have to plug them in and put the xlrs into the output of the mixer. Most pro DJ mixers have XLR outputs.

If you cant work it out... your not a DJ. FACT.

i got the krk 10-3 monitors... i rang up decks.co.uk and they did me a SICK deal!! they are fuckin massive aswell..
im 6 foot 3 and i could fit in the box that they came in!

and to top it off i just had a SHIT load of vinyl delivered
