As anyone who’s been paying attention will know, Wilkinson’s rise to fame has been prolific. With a succession of incredible tracks, collaborations and remixes, this talented producer has proven he can cut it at the very top of the drum & bass game. Tracks like ‘Moonwalker’ and last year’s anthem ‘Every Time’ have tipped him as one of the hottest properties around, while remixes for the likes of Nero, Chase & Status and Jess Mills have only cemented that reputation.

With his latest single ‘Automatic’ / ‘Hands Up!’ Wilkinson continues that undeniable run of success with yet another floor-shaking, sweat-inducing pair of dance floor fillers. These ones are undoubtedly going to cause havoc this summer!

‘Automatic’ leads the way, packed with Wilkinson’s signature style and a deluge of fresh ideas. Infused with familiar vocal snippets and an almost Prodigy-esque sheen, this track switches from warehouse rave prominence to rolling, grinding drum & bass basslines in the blink of an eye. Skipping beats are underpinned with a trademark Wilkinson bass and enough chops and changes to make any crowd panic. This one looks set for anthem status, a sure-fire global dance floor killer!

On the flip ‘Hands Up!’ sees Wilkinson switch the tempo down. Just as he did with his recent remix of Jess Mills’ ‘Pixelated People’ Wilkinson manages to inject his own personal sound. Like hip hop for the bass music generation, this is jumping, plodding hands in the air material which will have the bass music elite lining up to drop it in their sets thanks to its combination of earthquaking bass and infectious hook lines.
