Adjusting HF & Volume KRK Rokit6

Hi I own a pair of rokit6 and am unsure what I should have the volume and HF knobs turned to. ATM I have them both all the way up?? Does the tuning of these affect the overall mix/bounce?

0db as standard, if they are up 3db then it will only affect how you hear them, it wont directly affect your DAW. But having them up high means you'll naturally mix with less treble so on other sytems they could sound dull. Why did you turn them all the way up btw?
In it for the long haul.

Thanks for making me check my own. For some reason I had the left one of 0, and the right one on -6db...

edit: although now that i've fixed them the sound doesn't sound the same, this will take some time getting used to.

2nd edit: I think I know why it was on -6db. It's so the sound was more centered.

it's usefull to get your ears tested. as for me my ears tend to dip on the high end frequencies so i turn the HF down a bit, that way i can then compensate for what my ears dip on
