there you go! as I mentioned, things often get a lot more complicated, but this is usually how we get it rolling...

Thanks for that guys.
I've never bothered with templates, as I make a fair bit of stuff at different tempos and am lazy. Though I bet it really helps your workflow as you don't have to stop any creativity to mess around with routing..
Yeh big ups for that, I might have a go at making a few for some different styles so If I get a chance I'll upload em and post..
Joe
Hey, I could not download the template, it said that the file had been removed or violated terms of use, is there a screen shot or something that i could have a look at of the template?

im sure lost will get back to you as soon as he checks your post out. but you might also want to have a look at the logic project by loxy n resound. its free also, just follow the link
sorry if its not what u are looking for

Son of a bitch I can't believe they keep removing this fucking thing, especially considering it's not violating any terms of service.
We'll get on this and repost when the link is active again. I may even upload it to our private FTP to prevent any more of this nonsense. Sorry for the inconvenience guys.
Cheers.
P.S. That Loxy & Resound template is quite lovely.

do you want to go ahead and post your copy? i know you added a little to it...

Sure. I'll upload the updated template and will post a link this evening.

Alright everyone, right click + save this: localwildlife.com/Stepchild-Template_DnBForum.logic.zip
This is on my own personal web space so it won't be taken down.
The first time you open the template, click on the "notes" button at the top; I've detailed some of the new updates to the template. I've also included "demo" tracks for you to audition drum hits prior to placing them into the EXS24. There is also a dedicated sidechain channel for your convenience.
Cheers,
Lost & Msmith222 (aka Stepchild)
This is an incredibly kind gesture. Thanks for doing this!
I make tunes and I write about stuff. Check out my website.

Good suggestions man! I'll look into the MPC grooves. As far as Logic's arpeggiator, I can certainly set it up. However, I personally don't use it any more due to the fact that it...well, kinda sucks. Before I drop it in the template (which I'll be happy to do), check out these free, fantastic alternative's to Logic's shit arpeggiator: mucoder hypercyclic & the kirnu arpeggiator.
