Alternatives to iPad?

Google have a new one coming out for really cheap soon like £128 quid or sumting, i have been using a sony tablet at work this week and it's shit and it runs on android so i would just say get a and iPad you wont regret it like buying the others

Id like to see this too but apple have a strabglehold on the market. The ipad is a top quality device

but no one wants to give it the time of day (consumer or developers) and it makes a vicious cycle of not pwning like it should

The google tablet that is coming out is fucking incredible. Basically they made it with Asus and committed to selling tens of millions immediately so it is incredibly cheap for what you get. quad core processor etc. etc. it looks fucking mint.

There are basically 2 versioins of the windows one. Windows RT which runs on ARM chips and is more like a tablet like you know about (and that could well lock you to IE10 but I doubt it) and a intel one which is basically a full scale laptop but in a 10 inch HD screen with a touch screen and the 1.5mm thick keyboard with it. Trust me it is gonna murder any other tablet in terms of everything. However it will be very expensive because it is a fully fledged computer rather than a portable wank screen.
