I got a set of hr624's (mk2s) delivered on Friday. The clarity of them is unreal. I'm used to krk rokit 6's and the hr's piss all over the krks. Im very impressed with their 'stereo image?' like you can almost see the position of every sound in front of you.

Only complaint would be lack of low end. I have them on isolating stands. Dunno if my room is an issue. Or possibly I'm used to over hyped low end on the krks.

I'm sure the mackies will help towards my development production wise no end.

If you move around the room does the bass suddenly appear then vanish? That's what happens with the mr8's so it's the room I need to get sorted I guess.

Yes, thats another thing, treatment.. But it wont be because of 8's or 6's or 5's it will be because of the room.

Yeah mate. It's 'strength' seems to vary depending where you stand. One day when I don't live in my parents house... I'll stick foam EVERYWHEREEEE.
