Cheers guys About the mixdown, it's only the first track we did together we're both rather new to production so that'll improve with time hopefully.
About the sample - Yeah it's the same than in 'King of the stars', only noticed that afterwards when checking whosampled.com though.

Hey guys, I updated some things in the mix. Started this project last January haha, it's been going on so long but I'm kinda obsessed with getting it better because I think it has potential. Thoughts?
What do you reckon should I (well we, Czeknology and I) do with it when it's done, free dl? Bin?

My headphones have some ridiculous bass compensation but the low end still sounds completely empty and the drums sound kind of lost in the mix. I suggest you high pass the synths somewhere in the hundreds and cut off some of their tops, chop the break up and process the parts individually and layer them with some other drums. Listen through the tune on different speakers and see which elements stick out and which disappear.

well if I make the sub 1 octave higher it's whack like in the OP version :S on my headphones (HD25) the sub sounds quite ok now yeah the drums are lost in the mix... will layer/replace some bits with different samples and try HPing the synths aswell!

Not bad mate! Enjoying it. The bass is there. I can hear it. You'll feel it in a club. Maybe add some bass elements in at around 200hz? That'll help.

I really like this man.. Few things that caught my ear were the few mix down issues that's already been mentioned, and imo the drop gets a bit lost down to the same synth being used all the way through, maybe a bit of filtering etc may help? But other that that really like it

Yeah I noticed that too, was trying to circumvent this by trying out different drums before the drop but that didn't work very well, will switch it up with the synth.

Yeah I really like this too

vocal is great and the synths you've used are perfect for the track

but I agree about filtering that main synth at some points, and def need to get the sub bass sorted!
