Resident Advisor - Rockwell: High performance drum & bass engineering 28-06-12

    http://www.residentadvisor.net/feature.aspx?1623

Rockwell talks about a multitude of things from his past tunes, signing for Shogun, collaborating with Untold, Noisia, and Phace and Misanthrop, a tune of his with a juke vibe & his album penciled in for August/September 2013.

'It's become an insular scene largely dominated by the same big names who held sway 10 or even 15 years ago, governed by formula and convention'. so uninformed, but yeah good article

My thoughts exactly, that really wound me up. Seems a lot of people hold the same opinion of the scene as they did 5-10 years, which is ironic.
I think DNB is at it's most experimental right now, and open in terms of people breaking through if they've got what it takes.
Take Clarity's latest release on Exit as a perfect example to ridicule that whole opening statement.

"more concerned with sound design than dance floor functionality"

True, but the more experimental and forward thinking producers aren't getting the same regular arena bookings as High Contrast, London elek, Andy C & Friction. i know its not all about that but maybe that's what they mean by dominance
