Sure this has been asked before guys but hoping you can help me out here.

Only recently decided to buy nightlife 5, not overly impressed with it to be honest, it isnt bad but the tune selection is too dancefloor for my liking, and the mixing is suprisingly slow for Andy C.

Think I lean towards the parts of the CD with the classics for example Atlantis, Messiah etc

What's my best bet for a mix CD containing more of the darker ( but not minimal ) side of things with a few more classics in there? or in your own opinion the best one regardless of the style of the CD?

It took me a good few listens to get to like Nightlife 5, but I still rinse it nowadays... Anyway I'd recommend you to get Kasra's Fabriclive 62, will suit your preferences better I guess. Personally I really liked the Worldwide 001 by Matrix & Futurebound lately.

nightlife 1 was by far my fav out those series

does it have to be something that came out on cd? coz in my opinion there has been far better promo mixes come around than whats avaliable on cd. all depends on your preference.
the fabriclive mixes are usually good. halogenix recent one was good and zero t's latest was amazing.
