In all honesty little bit of mandy, like a beer or 2 first isnt a bad shout. IMO zoots before playing out really is a bit hit or miss, best left til after (or your comedown after the night )

2 or 3 drinks = relaxed if ur not anyway and a good set, anymore than that is not a good idea..

I find first 3 tunes ill feel a bit nervous until you can see the crowd reacting and you start to get into it then not worrying about it!

Just drink Red Bull. When you're pissed it takes you longer to fix a bad mix.
You get more of a rush when you're nervous as well

Ahaha sorry chaps, probably been too long to jump back in here but I somehow ended back here myself. It went fine, we played in the bar room and had plenty of time to get used the system before starting the set. Didn't manage intoxication on any level, fucking event owner decided he wasn't even gunna sort us a free bevvy.. But yeah, once you get into the flow the nerves subside and you start to enjoy yourself! Looking forward to playing out again to a more involving audience!

    Cheers for advice all
