Job Hunting

Admittedly, the last year or so i've been slacking, still applying for shit, but just not really putting much effort into it. But for the last 2 weeks i've been working seriously hard trying to get my shit together, and it's getting me nowhere.

I've been to every major town within a 10 mile radius handing out CV's and querying about job openings at every shop and warehouse i can find, i've signed up at 5 different employment agencies and even applied for voluntary work, but have i received a single call? fuck no. It's times like this that i throw my principles out the window and actually consider joining the army.

anyone have suggestions? I'm at the end of my tether

FUCK THE JOBCENTRE. that will not help you. Get on read and look for warehouse work.. there is fucking shit loads. if not that get a data entry job. 16 k starting salary. Get your local paper and look for jobs in that. guarentee there will be new jobs every week. If not go to sainsburys or tesco or waitrose or asda.

If you still cant get one.. whore yourself.

Follow up on every CV you have handed out, follow up on every application form you have sent out, blah blah blah

A lot of employers will only speak to the people that phone them back if there's 200 people applying for the same job, because only a small percentage will bother phoning them...
