Tom Schaar, 12, completes the first ever 1080 on a skateboard at the MegaRamp in California. The trick requires six 180-degree spins in the air and a successful landing. Many professional skateboarders have tried and failed to complete the 1080. Schaar has been skateboarding for eight years

Not to take anything away from the lad however, do you think Tony could bust a 1080 out on there? I don't think Tom could pull that off on a half pipe like Tony did with the 900.

Considering the 900 was done 13 years ago by a guy that had skated for 20+ years, yeah it's kind of a big deal.
