For this selection, I started with my own music collection and personal favourites. The intro is a piece of a James Bond soundtrack, I adore since I was a child and really wanted to use that as intro. All the other tracks are timeless funk/soul/jazz/rock classics that have been used for sampling in numerous hiphop and jungle/d&b tunes. I think some tracks inside should even be called remixes or bootlegs, because of the blatant resemblance to the originals. In other words : these productions make an update of the old songs by simply adding drums & basslines or rearranging the structure of the tracks for dancefloor purposes. Don't expect a lot of mixing, most tracks are in there from start to end, it's all about the music!

Respect to all the musicians, producers and people that helped me find the originals. I hope you enjoy listening these black beauties as much as I do!
