    Opening a plug-in in logic

Hey I just started working in logic and I feel retarted... I installed Massive and FM8 just the other day and I spent shitloads of time trying to figure out how i open up the plugins to a channel... I checked them in the AU manager list and they where imported correctly and everything like that. But the thing is, I can't find them in the library or where the heck are they located? I can open up the FM8 fx to a insert on a track tho but not find the synths anywhere.

Anyone knows what to do here? D:
