audio cutting out

hey all - just recently moved the studio elsewhere, and since this has happened, all audio files seem to cut out for a split second before resuming...anyone know what could be the cause of this? I've tried increasing the buffer size etc but nothing seems to have worked as of yet...I'm using an M Audio Fast Track Pro if that's any help. This has happened before after I moved the studio elsewhere, but I can't remember for the life of me how I sorted it haha...cheers!

Is your harddrive maxing out? depending on which DAW you use, you should have a hdd activity monitor sumwhere, its one of the orange indicators top right in Ableton
