hello :)
I've been searching some decks for the last couple of months, but you can never tell whats decent and whats not as I have no experience. :(
I need some help with what is best:

Vinyl or CDJs?
price range from around £300-500, but the cheaper the better..
also, my friend said these would be good for starters? anyone can confirm?

your help is much appreciated :)

Definately agree with the vinyl statement above.

Plus technics are only getting more expensive, so, although its a big investment, should you think its not for you, when you sell you might well be able to make some money on them.

Picked up my 1210's on ebay. Mint condish (aside from a tiny dent on the bottom) for £480 approx.

Yeah get some technics.. even if it means spending less on the mixer. You can upgrade that later.

For the mixer just avoid Beringher and if you're not spending much don't bother getting one with effects.

I dont agree with the learn vinyl first it will make you a better dj however second hand technics should be the only option you consider really. Best value for money. you can somtimes pick them up for £400 a pair. i just sold mine for that.

thanks for the replies guys :D, I'll probably pick up technics at christmas then if its worth the money :)
