Ratty was my biggest inspiration back in the day , tight mixing and tunes to kill for , a true racey jungle teckno legend !

Quest was where i used to go every saturday night, classic club nights !!! Have to agree about Ratty, he was an influence, also Dj pilgrim was a massive influence on me djing wise :rave:

Big respect for the mix geeza ....brings back great memories !! :)

Sweet idea dood! I'm going to dance to this one next weekend for sure!

Now is this also the exact same playlist that Ratty used or just the same bag of records that Ratty used?

Are there any video clips of this event on Youtube that your aware of?

I'll be doing exact replicas of two classic sets this summer, DJ Phantasy @ Dreamscape 4 and Grooverider @ Sterns, 1992. I'm waiting on two records to complete the Phantasy set at the moment. I collected all the Groove records last summer but only made a "if I had his records I would mix them this way instead" mix which I haven't uploaded yet.

big mix mate :) timebomb still kills me now such a tune !

@1992 what 2 tunes you waiting for?

Well now I'm only waiting for Crossfade "NRG" on FX Records because Naz aka Naz "Start it again (have a break mix)" showed up in the mail today from Italy. :D

I can't wait to do this set! I've been listening to the real Phantasy @ Dreamscape 4 set all day to remember how the tunes are mixed.

I think i might have this mate i will check when i get home :)

No worries, Crossfade "NRG" came in the mail today.

If your interested though, I'm now missing 6 records from the Bukem set that followed Phantasy and this ones going to be expensive to finish collecting.

01) Have a Good Time - DJ Clarkee - Paradox
02) Ruff Guidance E.P. – Nu-Matic - Ruff Guidance
03) Ulterior Beats - Is That It? - D-Zone 22
06) Street Knowledge - Men From Del Bosca - Giant Trax $$$$$Expensive Record$$$$$
08) Spectral Bass - Aurora - STU.J
11) Ephemeral - Tic Tac Toe - white label $$$$$Expensive Record$$$$$$

Street Knowledge - Men From del bosca ..... one of my fave tunes of all time .... first time i heard that was on a Dj Pilgrim Tape @ Fantasia Castle Donington ;)

Sweet man.
this looks great, my favourite style of 93 tunage.

like a few people mentioned in this thread, Ratty was a huge influence on my Dj'ing, ever since I first heard this set from Quest back in the early nineties.
