Im currently running a DMX fire 06 but im doin a complete refurb of my computer so was lookin at soundcards now.

Ive got a budget of around £200

what do you need it for? recording instruments, midi, firewire etc?

yea i need it to plug any hardware i get in, sampling, mackie monitors and just general dnb making.

do you need more than that? what sorta hardware are you thinking of buying? effects, synths, amps etc?

it's all about necessity, so there's not much point buying more than you need

im quite fancying the 1212m actually. Hardware i wanna eventually get is a virus TI, external eq, an external compressor and old skool keyboard synths
