    Waffle Book Club

Not a huge reader but got some waterstones vouchers to spend. What's the best stuff you've read?

    I've enjoyed:
Iain Banks - The Wasp Factory
Irvine Welsh - Marabou Stork Nightmares/Trainspotting
Richard Matheson - I am Legend
Jon Krakauer - Into Thin Air (mount everest book)

Stephen Kings Dark tower series is immense if you've got a while.

    also:
The demon trilogy by peter v. Brett
Anything by Robert Ludlum (Especially Apocalypse Watch)
American psycho by Bret Easton Ellis
Enders game by orson scott card
    1984 by george orwell
The Last Juror by John Grisham
The millenium trilogy by Stieg Larsson (Girl who did whatever)

Depends how many vouchers you got really!

i remember reading 1984 at a real bad time, seemed to real and depressing lol

I mainly like non-fiction books, mainly crime and drugs, i find it well interesting.

Anyone read The Damage Done? Its about an ozzie that gets caught smuggling heroin in thailand, very provacative and moving, reading about his struggles in tough prisons.

    Harry Potter

nah on a real read Mr Nice (Howard Marks autobiography), Scar Tissue (Anthony Kiedis' autobiography) or a Fortunate Life (Paddy Ashdowns autobiography)

all very good reads. Stephen Frys books are quite entertaining too if you like him
