i thought i had just finshed my setup (for the time being anyways)
i have: 2x citronic mpcds6s
2x 1210s mk2 ( on the way in the post, which i had bought last week)
1x Vestax vmc 004fx mixer
and a pair of techinc 3 way 80w speakers and technics 160w amp

my mate billy came over for a mix earlyier to test my new speakers out and while i was eating my food down stairs some how he manged to brake the channel 2 volume slider, so when i got upstairs he kept telling me how sorry he was ect, so i began to strip the mixer down to have a look and see if the slider was replacable or weather i could bodge a repair; as the warrenty had just run out a week or so ago.
but you cant replace the volume slider so it looks like im going to have to buy a new mixer,

But as last week i spent £600 on my setup, i dont have a lot of spare cash floating about. but luckliy my best mate won jackpot on a slot machine at the casino on saturday (£4200) so he said he would loan me the money to buy a better mixer :)

so i think im going to get the DJM 700 pioneer mixer

i have seen one on ebay for 600 inc P & P "MIXER USED 5 TIMES" which i thought was a wee bit bait, but in his recent sold items theres a pioneer cdj 800 used 5 times and the buyer has given good feedback,

is there any other mixers worth looking at around that price i dont want to go any higher

Can't go wrong with a pioneer mate! They are built to last, so u don't need to be too anxious about buying 2nd hand!
If cash is an issue maybe look at the 600 instead of the 700
The 700 looks a bit nicer and has a few additional features but none of which I think would be overly necessary, but that's just me.

She would win if it was a beauty contest...

get billy in a headlock and dont let him go for at least half hour.

on another note tho hope u get a good mixer bro

wish my mates would give me money if they won then jackpot , mine would just tell me to fuck off and rub it in my face :'(

If you can source a mixer local that you can go and check and test out first then i'd recommend buyin 2nd, especially if it's a high range A&H or Pioneer. Plus all parts on decent mixers are replaceable so don't listen to these cats that say only buy new - Silly tards! buying cheap shite second hand is dumb!

For £600 you deffo get a Xone 62 2nd hand, i'm selling one funnily enough :) PM me if interested

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get an extra 400 quid off your mate and buy a Xone 92.

It will be the best purchase you ever make as a D&B DJ, anyone who thinks otherwise is lying....

^^^^^^^^
Wayne speaks the truth

I've lent mine to my mate while my house is being redone and i tell you what..i miss the fucking thing.

Mixing on a 92 is the most fun you can ever have playing records. Those filters are incredible, they are built to last and give you amazing sound quality. All these people who bleat on about Pioneer mixers are chatting breeze. Allen & Heath Xone 92 is the standard for this type of music

I can't wait to get mine back
