I'm planning on buying either one of those...
Quality of traktor is better than torq (true?), but torq overlaps waveforms like serato does, which means you can visually beatmatch as well as through listening in your cups. For when things have to go quick and all, and easy way to see that a drop is coming up in the right place etc... I've heard that Torqs browser is pretty much shit too. What about that?

I honestly don't know. Torq or Traktor duo? What would you guys suggest?
I also find the traktor software better looking. Torq looks like some toy with the weird colors and all.
Can that be customized or something?

cheers

hmmm, yeah, i know... That waveform shit is the only thing that still has me in doubt. Fuckin serato does have it AND is quality software. Rane must think we're all rich mofo's.

cheers for the info though, you've helped me alot on this. Ah, i'm normally getting the behringer ddm4000 mixer. Haven't found a bad review yet, and lots of midi mapping options to control traktor (without having to buy their 180 euro controller, hehehe)
