    Glide in Massive

Does anyone know how to make notes glide together using NI Massive?

I've got a nice synth riff going that I made in Massive but would like the notes to transition into eachother more smoothly. Any tips? Thanks

Also wondering, what is the difference between glide, portamento, and legato?? Im getting this music crap all confused

    Re: Glide in Massive

I do can answer your first question ;3

Inside massive, go to your Voicing tab, then in the voicing-box set it ti monophon,
and then in the Trigger box underneath it, set it to Legato.

if im right you should be gliding notes now :3
underneath the OSC tab you can set the speed of the glide, and wether youd like it Equal, or with rate.

I dont know about the differences either, I just always assumed it comes down to the same thing hahha

legato literally translated means "smooth" i think.... for instance when you're playing on a guitar if you're playing legato you sound the notes with hammer ons and pull offs rather than picking the notes to make it sound smoother

    legato means playing smooth
    portamento means sliding/bending between notes
