ONE of the most, if the most influential producers to come out of the dubstep scene. He was there at the beginning with the boys at Big Apple Records, he was a FWD regular and has been the spearhead of the scene and driven it into mainstream success.

One of his early singles, Midnight Request Line was for many the tune that put Dubstep on the map. Now, although he may be known for producing the mainstream remix of La roux's 'In for the Kill' )he has still retained respect from all sides of the underground music scene.

He's a true legend in todays scene, a fucking party animal and when he plays a set he tears up the dancefloor. Its a pleasure having him down!

------------------------------ ZINC ------------------------------

First starting as a dj on the pirate radio circuit, Zinc has gone on to produce some of the scene's biggest anthems, most notably 'Super Sharp Shooter' and the remix of the Fugees’ 'Ready Or Not' - both of which still devastate dancefloors to this day.
In 1996 Zinc launched the True Playaz label, alongside jungle veterans Pascal and DJ Hype and continued to produce and release many jungle and drum & bass anthems on True Playaz throughout the end of the 90s, making the label one of the biggest and most successful of the era.

In 2000 Zinc produced the genre defying ‘138 trek' - which went on to chart in the UK and single handedly created a whole new genre, establishing him outside of his native dnb.In 2001 Zinc launched his own 'Bingo Beats' imprint, releasing breakbeat and drum & bass until 2007.

Recognised as one of the worlds premier DJs and innovative producers and having played at every major festival and major nightclub around the world for 10 years, it was instantly noticeable when, without public explanation, Zinc stopped taking bookings and releasing music throughout 2008.

Now in 2010, Zinc opens the doors of his incubator to reveal a new creation which moves to a house tempo. With sights set squarely at the dance floor Zincs brand of house is serrated with the ruggedness that saw him cut his own niche through jungle, drum & bass and breaks. Weighted with basslines from dubstep and jungle and infused rave influences, there’s nothing polite about Zinc’s new production or DJ sets, as he brings his unapologetic energy into the house arena.

Back in the lab, Zinc’s working on a new LP entitled, ‘Life Begins at Midnight’. He is keeping his cards close to his chest at the moment but we suggest that you set your clocks to 0000 hours and come on a journey with the DJ / Producer who always manages to stride one step ahead.

-------------------------------- SBTRKT -------------------------------------------

On a line up alongside two legends, SBTRKT is definately the new boy on the scene, but he's definitely making a scene of his own. He is one of London's 2010 explosions with plenty of substance.

He recently received a lot of atention for a fresh remix of Tinie Tempah's 'Pass Out' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptfOddCMRFk).
This isn't head-nodding substance - it's dancefloor cramming vibes with layers of smart twitches and dark twists. Mary Anne Hobbs labelled him “one of the freshest and most promising young players I’ve heard all year” which is a chunk of worthy approval. We cannot wait for this one....
