- Mute:8 Recordings was originally set up in 2003 by four DJ's / producers with a like minded philosophy of producing and playing Drum & Bass that breaks the mould and put on events that produce the vibe and atmosphere that brings people back for more. In the summer of 2003 the original launch night was put on in Northampton, followed by more events in Leicester, Rugby, Nottingham, Sheffield and more.
