you know what, trap is so disposable i dont even see the point in discussing it, what i want to say however, is i just cant fucking understand whats come to be pop raps only lyrical content?
gangsta rap was considered unsound lyrical content back in the 90s in its heyday but rapping about being rich and "having" stuff, real consumer type stuff too, like clothes and jewels, a car, a fucking video game console, its not uncommon for these pop artists that rap to include xbox or playstation in the list of "things they have" which usually comprises their whole song. rap about being famous until you actually are famous, thats what i can surmise is the standard, and whats sad about that is it only workds for a few, the rest will a) quit or b) go on reality tv or c) try something else to get famous, go from rapper to trance dj and then perhaps alt. b) looks like a viable way , in conjunction with furious facebooking. did you see the tila tequila porno? lesbian but still, fan bloody tastic.
