i'm off to buy me a synth - no Novation or Waldorf hardass-super-expensive-class, i want to spend something like 500-600 euros. I've been looking around for something like yamaha cs2x, cheap but effective. If somebody has any suggestions on what models to look for (prolly going to order from Thomann), please share your info.

mate im telling you right now get any synth in the csXx series. Youll never regret it and youll never be without samples again. Its all about how well you can freak the harware, youll see what i mean once you get it.

haha yeah i love my cs1x too. strange its sound should become trendy again isnt it. Only bad thing about it is that its got no highpass.
