ive got a question ive been meaning to ask.. did we get the name liquid funk after the artist of this tune? cus i hes called liquid. n i thought, well this is a absolute classic old skool tune and got a feel good vibe going round and maybe influenced lotsa producers to make similar sounds when dnb evolved.. hence liquid funk.. just a idea?

No it isnt 'ruining the original' but the original is a stone cold classic so why touch it at all? There are some tunes that dont need updating or re-interpreting. Show Me Love by Robin S is a perfect record as it is but people constantly rework it every year and Blame did that shit D&B version of it. Why? Leave it alone. Not all music needs to be remixed for other genres. They are classics in their own

This happened to me.

Anyway, I think it's significant it's not being marketed as a remix - it's 'Danny Byrd ft. Liquid'. It's basically it's own tune, with the piano riff from Sweet Harmony. And I like it in it's own right.
