You will be Judged under the following criterias:

THE DETAILS:

5 Tents/Styles
5 Members per tent
(Jumpup/Dancefloor,Liquid,Old Skool/Classics,Newbies**special rules apply, Neuro/Tech)
Three Rounds

This competition last 2 months because it is SUMMER and people will be away and will have other things to do than come here :D

Round 1 - A 25-35 minute mix in the style of your tent, including ONE song that describes for you, THE tune of your genre.
*****There will be TWO winners from each tents to go on to Round 2.
MIXES DUE THE 15th OF JULY
ROUND 1 WINNERS ANNOUCED 22nd OF JULY


Round 2 - You will be teamed up with another winner from ANOTHER tent to do a 40 minute mix of a "collaboration" of both your styles. You will be able to pick your teamate.
3 out of the 4 teams will make it to round 3.
MIXES DUE THE 2nd OF AUGUST
ROUND 2 WINNERS ANNOUCED 9th OF AUGUST

Round 3 - A 60-75 minute mix embodying the styles of EVERY tent.
MIXES DUE THE 16th OF AUGUST
ROUND 1 WINNERS ANNOUCED 23rd OF AUGUST


NEWBIES TENT ( DIFFERENT RULES APPLY)
Pick 2 styles from the 4 other tents and do a 25-30 minute mix
Only 1 winner from this tent will go to Round 3.
(Why the different rules, well its a festival competition and we wanted to test the regular forum members to get THE dnbforum DJ. Unfortunatly if you dont have more thant 500 posts, well GET POSTING and get involved)


THE RULES:

.01 | Post if you are interested in the comp with the names of your 3 FAVORITE tents (in order from 1 being most to 3 being least). I will then talk with the judges and you will be put in one accordingly.
IT IS NOT FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. CHECK BACK TO SEE IF YOU'VE BEEN ACCEPTED.
.02 | Upload your mix with your name, your tent anywhere, and ON time.
.03 | Be Involved with the competition and the members.

Apart from this tiny detail, this is a wonderful idea. Big thanks to Chloe for the humongous effort, and to those who have submitted mixes, donated prizes and have become judges. Based on the success of this, we can repeat this every summer and make it a well known event in the online dnb world. Who knows? This thing maybe the beginning of an actual dnb festival.

Sounds like a good idea, maybe it would work better as a Freeparty or something for the first year, just see how many soundsystems you can gather together from the forum maybe.

Wayhay actually got it finshed a fair few hours before this time :)
