[u]Ive recently got into production and i was wondering what is the best drum pattern for a fast drum and bass song with rolling a bassline?

Ive been experimenting with drum beats, im pretty good but i tend to make them complicated and it distracts the listener form the main tune so yeh, help please!

examples welcome,

thanx.

theres the typical bass and snare pattern that youll hear in most tunes, it looks a little like this (0=bass,1=snare,-=empty beat)
0-1--01-
with the the hats and other precusion i tend to go a bit crazy and see what happens, bit of trial and error. also it could be the mixing thats distracting the listener to the drums, try changing the levels, maybe bring them down a little.hope thats of help :)

use the typical kick snare kick snare

but add a double kick the the first beat to make a ki kick snare
then add another snare 3/4 of a beat after the first snare

experiment though really mate its good to filter some snares and stuff ...im abit braindead today, thus the bad explanation
