Concorde scratch carts, i dont scratch, but heh, glow under uv as well, which is a bonus, i suppose. Heh. Defo need some nu stylii tho, current ones are fucked.
im stuck on Stantons too
just had to replace one last weekend for the first time, making its lifespan almost 9 years, nice :)
My Stanton 500's lasted 3 years!
But the sound quality did get worse over time :(
i find that stanton 500's wear out pretty quickly i.e. after about a year they start to skip, or perhaps thats just me giving them some scratch abuse!
ive never had my stantons skip, seems you're maybe being a bit heavy handed yus :)
Perhaps I just try to put too many scratches in?
hehe, could be, but half the time its a simple thing like not having the decks on a flat surface lol

I think that's what he meant by scratchin' :D
I used to scratch when I had my Stanton 500's, they lasted about 3yrs as I said.

I know dear, hence why i was confirming he might be being a bit heavy handed

Obviously you can't skratch, because you don't have to be heavy handed ;)
Fool.
never tried scratchin, never wanted to hehe
but i do know the concept of it, and sometimes, people can be heavy handed
ive seen it, and listened to it
fewwwwwwwl :D :D :D
anyways, fact is, scratching dont help the lifespan, i think we can all agree on that hehe :)

right now if you'll excuse me im off to get my daughter from school
then I gotta get her ready for her school disco at 4pm
ahhh, remember school discos? the stepping side to side to the music, and for the lads, getting a run up, and then skidding across the shiny dancefloor on their knees
oh those were the days *cough*
anyway, be back later :P
Hahha, I'd prolly say that any DJ mixing for a year or so would have tried scratchin' at least once.
Whether it be a small sample, a beat etc.
Soo.... :p

Respect...if I had kids thats what I'd do.
yep, Im a mummy hehe
her name is Charlotte, she'll be 7 on New Years Day
She's already taking interest in the decks, she often watches me when I'm on them, and shes very partial to Joker stuff at the mo, and Monday Madness on BP, she loves that hehe
This pic was taken a couple years ago, no scanner anymore so its the last online I have of her

but we're really keen to teach her

... is there really a need to post a pic of your daughter? imo not a good idea due to the mass perverts (glances stuuu's way;) that are into kiddies.. like Roy Whiting...
/me gets his chainsaw to cut whiting's arms off
Err? That's a nasty thought Jester :(
