Apart from (IMO) Hardcore being a severley retarded type of music...the DJ's have names which reflect not only their lack of imagination but also their severe stupiditiy mixed with a hint of Chaviness....

Hardcore DJ's do have the dumbest names in dance music!

This doesn't include Gabba! Not that Gabba is a real type of music anyway!

Anyway....

Thats just a taster and im sure this phenomenon isnt just limited to the wwonderful and deep world of 'ardcore. Im sure that it spreads to other gnres of dance music...

I mean to me Kevin Energy conjours up images of sum geeza in a Ford escort with a mullet on pills ead banging to sum propa 'ardcore....!

I was trying to think of a shitter name the Kevin Energy but couldnt!

i no a hardcore dj that plays with all the a-list djs his name is dj delight wich aint too bad ..but them djs defenatly hold the cheese

actually Garage DJ names are pretty shit aswell..


and yeah ok one or two Jungle DJ's have pants names!

for example putting the words, Bad Boy in your name...is a bit laughable...but hey, back in the day and all dat....


also (and i love his tunes) but Simon 'Bassline ' Smioth is a bit stupid...

I think every genre has this, um, problem. Not that I think it's a problem, it's not really something I've spent time thinking about :teeth:

Yeah, we've taken the piss out of DJ names in the past, 'so called mates' calling me SMD or STD :laugh: Then Triple M with Triplennium or Turple N, and don't get me started with M-Code ha ha! :teeth:

There are plenty of stupid names in Drum & Bass, just like any other genre you care to mention!

Finally I happen to like Hardcore, for me it's hardly a retarded type of music. Sharkey, Kev Energy, Scott Brown, Brisk, Jon Doe and so on all rock the house, big up those guys, keep it up (Y)
